Carnatic in Corona Times – Episode 2

With the lockdown in place, I’m spending a lot of time by myself. In normal times my mind tends to wander when I’m not singing, writing, cooking or thinking of new projects. In pandemic times it’s much more than the usual and I find myself reflecting and listening to my inner voice. The Bhakti mystic poet Kabir had spoken about this many centuries ago in his beautiful doha (couplet).
