Moods & Melodies – Calming Yourself With Carnatic Music

Today was the first time I did a musical presentation on Zoom to a wonderful group of music lovers in Florida and beyond.
Moods & Melodies: Calming Yourself with Carnatic Music was an online presentation where the audience went through a variety of moods with songs from across India (classical and more) and understand how melodies indeed can shape our moods, even in these trying times. The online audience was very appreciative and there was a short Q&A after the presentation. Feedback from some of the audience after the presentation is given below.

Thank you for arranging such a wonderful zoom meeting πŸ™ Smt. Chitra”s singing was so divine.πŸ‘ŒπŸ™. Like she was explaining, , all those emotions were felt. It started to rain here as she was finishing song in Amruthavarshini ragam. Please give her our respectful wishes.πŸ™

Each song was a πŸ’Ž with lovely informative commentary- personal favorite was Tandanana. πŸ™πŸ™

In a short music session she connected Annamacharya philosophy to listeners.fortunate to understand each word.Other songs so nice.At the end I felt they are all my favorites. Thanks to her.Regards.

It was such a meaningful song for the times and so melodious. I liked the way she connected each raaga to an emotional feeling to dwell into it.
